Our Energy & Environment Group provides full-featured government relations services at the federal, state and local levels to a variety of clients, including natural gas, oil, mining, coal, nuclear, renewable, energy efficiency and transformational companies, and public utilities. Our dedicated team brings considerable experience working with Congressional energy, environment, natural resources and science committees, as well as the Departments of Energy, the Interior and Justice; the Environmental Protection Agency; the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission; the Nuclear Regulatory Commission; the Bureau of Land Management; and state and local agencies too numerous to mention.
The group covers the full scope of our clients’ needs. Our work ranges from small projects, including appropriations and agency rulings, to full-scale representation of companies and global leaders in energy development and production. When necessary, we can call on a seasoned staff of business and litigation attorneys with years of experience in the energy industry. Our legislative professionals work with many of the world’s largest energy producers on legislative issues involving all aspects of the traditional oil and gas industry, biofuels, alternative energy and power. Our attorneys routinely represent utilities, producers, mining and extraction companies in all aspects of development, engineering & construction, contracts, corporate & business matters, and natural resource issues, including water, land use and litigation.
