Background

More than 30 years of experience navigating prominent real estate development projects. Valued counsel to some of the nation’s leading homebuilders and developers.

Greg Vallin provides counsel on high-profile, complicated real estate development projects. He helps some of the region and nation’s largest homebuilders and commercial developers find solutions for the complex issues that development projects present. From representing Sterling Ranch in the simultaneous closing of 800 residential lots to five national homebuilders, to advising McWhinney Real Estate, Craft Companies, Starwood Land Advisors, Lendlease, and The Lionsgate Group with their mixed-use development projects, Greg guides clients through legal challenges and analyzes a project to spot potential problems, gaps and opportunities.

Greg’s wealth of knowledge is drawn from his diverse real estate experience. He has represented developers in the acquisition, development, sale and leasing of thousands of square feet of shopping center, warehouse and commercial space. Committed to spearheading innovative projects across industries, he’s also played an integral role representing Rocky Mountain Public Broadcasting Network in a new media-centered redevelopment project in downtown Denver.

With an interest in preserving Colorado's most beautiful places for future generations, Greg is active in the land conservation community. He has represented land trusts and landowners in transactions involving the preservation of unique and scenic property through conservation easements and other land preservation techniques. His passion for land conservation goes beyond his legal practice and he served on the board for both the Mountain Area Land Trust and Colorado Coalition of Land Trusts for years.
