Sarah Dewar’s practice focuses on brand management and trademark protection through comprehensive search and clearance, prosecution, maintenance and renewal. She advises on trademark enforcement, including cease and desist letters, coexistence agreements, e-commerce take-down requests, domain name disputes and TTAB proceedings. Sarah has experience overseeing international trademark portfolio strategy development, docket management, and coordination with foreign counsel. In addition to her trademark practice, Sarah also provides copyright counseling through the stages of registration, maintenance and enforcement.
Prior to joining Brownstein, Sarah was a trademark attorney at a Denver-based firm. While in law school, she was a legal intern for the University of Denver’s Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer and also interned for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Sarah served as an editor on the Denver Law Review.
