A dynamic commercial litigator, Sean Cuff leverages his extensive courtroom skills and clerkship experience to help clients navigate complicated legal matters in trial and appeals courts. He has an emerging expertise in appellate law, defamation and anti-SLAPP litigation.
With a long track record of successful motions in Colorado courts, Sean works with both individuals and businesses in all manner of commercial litigation matters at both the state and federal level. He has also appeared on behalf of clients on briefs in appellate courts across the country. His work has included a variety of complex litigation matters, including successful prosecution and defense of anti-SLAPP motions, real-estate disputes, business divorces and breach of contract claims.
Prior to joining Brownstein, Sean was a judicial law clerk for Justice Robyn M. Brody of the Idaho Supreme Court. He also previously served as a judicial intern for Judge Kristen L. Mix of the U.S. District Court of Colorado, a summer law clerk in the Civil Litigation & Employment Section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office and a law clerk with the U.S. Attorney’s office in Colorado. While in law school, Sean served as a production editor for the Denver Law Review.
