Jennifer Lee centers her practice on public agency law, with a particular focus on land use, planning and code enforcement. In addition to advising municipal and special district clients on day-to-day matters, she has extensive experience on compliance with the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, conflict-of-interest and election laws.
Prior to joining Brownstein, Jennifer worked as an assistant city attorney for a mid-sized California city, where she acted as the primary legal advisor to the Community Development, Parks and Recreation, and Fire Departments. In addition to her transactional work, she was involved in all aspects of defending litigation claims against the city.
