Background

Focused on the intersection of economic growth and environmental stewardship, Ruth Elizabeth Morris works with clients to navigate regulatory, legal and legislative frameworks in their normal course of business. She has an emerging expertise in ESG and water law in the Rocky Mountain West. 

Ruth Elizabeth was formerly a summer associate with the firm, working on issues related to water rights, natural resources, easements, litigation, policy, bankruptcy, contracts and construction. Prior to that, she was a communications coordinator and business communications instructor at the University of Connecticut. While in law school, Ruth Elizabeth was the symposium editor for the University of Denver Water Law Review and a student attorney at her alma mater’s environmental law clinic. 

Ruth Elizabeth is not yet licensed to practice in Colorado.
