Background

Olivia Ortiz concentrates her practice on representing both lenders and borrowers in real estate finance transactions involving commercial and construction lending, acquisitions, refinancings and dispositions of various real estate.  Her experience includes a broad range of asset types, including industrial, office, retail and multifamily.  Olivia also assists with handling the entitlement, acquisition, development and sale of commercial real estate, including hotel, retail and industrial properties.

Before joining Brownstein, Olivia worked as an associate at the Chicago offices of two AmLaw 100 firms, primarily representing financial institutions in single-bank and syndicated real estate acquisition and construction financing transactions.  During law school, she was Executive Footnote Editor for the Utah Law Review.
