Tracy Roman advises clients on intellectual property and technology issues particularly in transactional deals. For more than 25 years, Tracy has advised clients on a range of issues, including copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, privacy and licensing. She regularly counsels businesses and non-profits in international and U.S. transactions focused on licensing, IP protection and technology issues. Tracy has significant experience negotiating and drafting agreements that cover IP/technology transfers, joint developments, consulting agreements, strategic alliances, software licenses, internet advertising and services, content sharing, e-commerce and a range of entertainment agreements covering both digital and traditional media and entertainment production and financing deals.
Prior to focusing exclusively on transactional work, Tracy was an experienced litigator and appellate attorney. She represented numerous Fortune 500 companies in state and federal litigation matters and provided clients with invaluable litigation avoidance counsel. She brings this litigation knowledge and experience to her transactional work to benefit her clients.
