Lexi Anicama monitors and analyzes critical policy and regulatory developments to inform the advocacy decisions of Brownstein’s Education team. She provides in-depth research and compiles pertinent political information on client matters to further their goals on Capitol Hill and in executive agencies.
Before joining the firm, Lexi studied the effectiveness of federal education programs in reducing inequality in college aid with the National College Attainment Network. Lexi further strengthened her education expertise by earning her Master’s in Public Policy focused in education policy from George Washington University. She also spent time in the House of Representatives, interning for Rep. Mark DeSaulnier (D-CA). This added to her many internships with private government relations firms, where she honed skills in legislative tracking and policy analysis.
