David Sherwood supports Brownstein’s Government Relations team by providing well-researched analysis of environmental and energy policy. He tracks key legislative and regulatory developments to ensure clients can adjust their advocacy strategy accordingly. David also is a key member of the American Indian Law and Policy team, bolstering their work with Native American policy matters.
Before joining the firm, David interned in politics-focused roles with government relations firms, as well as an environmental advocacy group. In these positions, he honed his skills in compiling research, following Congressional hearings and drafting policy documents to inform stakeholders on pressing issues.
