Background

Domestic and global policy frequent flyer. Invaluable advisor for companies seeking U.S. government funding and international financing. Relentless advocate in crisis situations.

Doug Maguire is a problem-solver for sovereign nations, private equity firms, international companies and technology start-ups facing high-stakes issues domestic and abroad. His relationships with senior administration officials, understanding of how federal agencies function, and personal network at NGOs, global foundations and think tanks is leveraged to solve previously unsolvable challenges. Known for his relentless energy and drive, Doug is the advocate clients want in their corner when failure is not an option.

An original member of the firm’s international practice, Doug represents sovereign nations before the U.S. government. Beginning his career with the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency of the World Bank Group, Doug has worked in over 35 countries across Africa, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.
