Background

Greg Sileo is an innovative strategist with over 15 years of experience in government relations, policy and municipal public sector leadership. He has worked on some of the most critical issues facing local and state governments—including homelessness, poverty, housing and public health—and excelled in fostering partnerships with government leaders, public agencies and nonprofits in Maryland and nationwide.

Greg previously served as assistant commissioner under Dr. Leana Wen at the Baltimore City Health Department, advancing public health policies on chronic disease prevention and trauma-informed care. At the Maryland Department of Human Services, he worked in the Office of the Secretary directing strategic policy initiatives to improve services for vulnerable populations. During his time in the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office, he spearheaded programs to reduce homelessness and empower low-income residents, securing millions in funding and developing innovative community assistance programs.

Most recently, Greg was vice president for strategic growth at Volo Sports, the country’s largest adult social sports company, leading local government relations and strategic partnerships across nine cities.

Active in civic engagement, Greg has served on several nonprofit boards, led his neighborhood association and supported Maryland political campaigns.
