Sydney Ziegler works with the firm’s Colorado state policy team through monitoring policy developments, regulatory changes and legislative updates and supporting client outreach. She brings deep research skills with past work focused on affordable housing, the national outlook on state legislation and policy, carbon emissions, energy and tax policy. Sydney also has significant experience in public relations and coalition building.
Before joining Brownstein, Sydney was most recently a housing policy research assistant at the University of Colorado, Denver, and an energy policy intern with the National Conference of State Legislatures. She was also formerly a marketing and outreach specialist for the university, a legislative intern for Colorado State Rep. Cathy Kipp and a campaign canvasser for the Larimer County Democrats in Fort Collins.
