In the midst of high-stakes complex commercial litigation, Emily Ellis is known for her sense of humanity. With client advocacy at the forefront, she focuses her practice on business, construction defect and real estate disputes. She also has experience in intellectual property litigation, including trademark and copyright matters. 

Emily represents a wide range of clients from governmental entities to large corporations and publicly traded companies. Major clients she has worked for include Clark County, Clark County Department of Aviation, McCarran Airport, SunAmerica Housing Fund 1585, police officers of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, NML Capital, Ltd, Boyd Gaming, Wynn/Encore, Caesars Entertainment Corporation and City of Henderson.

Emily is frequently tapped to join trial teams due to her advanced legal writing skills. She has litigated before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Nevada Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada and the Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County Nevada – Civil and Family Division. 

She serves as the Las Vegas chairperson of Brownstein’s firmwide Karma Committee and as a member of the Pro Bono Committee.
