His notable clients include a former president of the United States; a former top U.S. Department of Justice official in civil proceedings focused on his official acts; and the first senior presidential advisor ever indicted for contempt of Congress. Over three decades, his representations have involved historic legal questions of first impression.
Evan possesses extensive expertise in managing and litigating large, complex civil cases for corporate clients in highly regulated industries. Previously, Evan served as a managing director of a public global investment company, which managed hedge funds with diversified investments. He also worked as an assistant U.S. attorney for the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, DC, where he led investigations and prosecutions of hundreds of felony cases, tried over 30 jury trials and presented 20 appellate oral arguments. He began his career in the U.S. House of Representatives as an assistant to the ranking subcommittee member of the Appropriations Committee.
