These are dangerous times, America.
With increased frequency and intensity, violence and anger have spilled into our streets in spite of a pandemic that cries out for public restraint.
Against this backdrop of social unrest, our raging president, a would-be “dictator”, toys with our democracy. Donald Trump’s outright lie about winning the presidential election not only undermines the integrity of our institutions but needlessly stirs the passions of an already deeply divided nation. Meanwhile, key Republican leaders stay silent for fear of retribution and targeting, while our media pushes out an increasingly partisan narrative.
Democracy has come unhinged.
