If America isn’t a third-world country, why are we acting like one?
According to Habitat for Humanity, one billion people, or one-sixth of the world’s population, live in shantytowns and that number is expected to double by 2030. We have all seen the disturbing pictures of these shantytowns in developing countries that don’t have adequate resources or access to safe water, sanitation or electricity, but what’s America’s excuse?
