On April 26, the NBA and National Basketball Players Association announced the ratification of a new seven-year collective bargaining agreement, which will take effect July 1 and run through the 2029-2030 season.
As reported, several key changes in the new CBA relate to a more relaxed stance on player use of THC-containing cannabis products — i.e., marijuana — and player involvement in marijuana and CBD companies.
