The Pacific Coast Business Times recognized Beth Collins-Burgard as a 2016 Top 50 Women in Business for her leadership within the legal industry in Santa Barbara and throughout California. Every year, the Pacific Coast Business Times honors 50 outstanding female business leaders. An evening reception to honor this year’s award recipients will be held at the Deckers Rotunda on April 14 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
Beth, a shareholder in Brownstein’s Santa Barbara office, assists landowners, public agencies and institutions, energy companies, and developers through all stages of the development process, specializing in high-controversy projects and properties. She has a rare mix of significant permitting, transactional and litigation experience that gives her a unique perspective and her clients an edge. Beth’s deep knowledge on a broad range of issues, including the California Environmental Quality Act, Coastal Act, and easement issues, allows her to advocate for clients in the California courts and local and state agencies.
In addition to her professional practice, Beth has always been deeply involved with the community, providing free legal services to low-income individuals and nonprofits and serving on various state and local nonprofit boards. In 2014, Beth was honored with Brownstein’s Shareholder Inspiration Award for her unwavering commitment to providing free legal services to low-income individuals and nonprofits.
