Ronda Sandquist Named One of Denver Business Journal’s Top Women in Energy

April 20, 2017

The Denver Business Journal has named Brownstein’s Ronda Sandquist as one of its 2017 Top Women in Energy honorees. The Denver Business Journal’s Top Women in Energy recognizes women whose position, knowledge or expertise helps guide the sector.

“Ronda is a go-to attorney for energy companies dealing with environmental issues,” said Adam Agron, Brownstein’s managing partner. “Her veteran experience with the complex regulatory issues this industry faces on a daily basis allows her clients to achieve their regional and national objectives.”

Ronda, a shareholder in the Denver office, serves as a strategic advisor to clients on environmental, regulatory and legislative approaches for major projects and legal compliance. Ronda counsels owners and developers of major projects on environmental and natural resource permitting and regulatory compliance – the scope, magnitude and complexity of which often trigger federal environmental reviews under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). She applies extensive knowledge of environmental frameworks and alternative compliance strategies throughout the project approval process.

Additionally, Ronda gives back to the Denver community through her pro bono representation of The Greenway Foundation and her work on the board of directors for Sense of Security. She is co-founder of Denver Independent Network of Restaurants and also a member of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association, National Mining Association and Colorado Mining Association.
