Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Doug Friednash, chair of the firm’s State & Local Legislation & Policy Group, has been named to Law Week Colorado’s 2019 Barrister’s Best issue. Friednash was recognized in Barrister’s Best “Best Government Law Lawyer” category.
With a deep background in the public and private sectors, Friednash represents local, regional and national clients in a wide range of industries with issues related to lobbying, public policy and government relations. He has substantial experience within emerging regulated industries including cannabis and industrial hemp, as well as working on national issues such as energy, affordable housing, higher education, health care and transportation. Prior to joining the firm, Friednash served as chief of staff to former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and also served as city attorney under Denver Mayor Michael Hancock.
