Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Airina Rodrigues, a shareholder in its Denver office, has joined the board of directors of Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC), an organization that motivates and enables people to become active stewards of Colorado’s natural resources.
VOC works with conservation and land agencies and relies on thousands of people annually to provide a volunteer workforce for outdoor stewardship projects. An outdoor enthusiast, Rodrigues will serve on the organization’s board for a three-year term.
“I wanted to be part of an organization committed to the sometimes unnoticed, but essential, work of trail maintenance, habitat restoration, flood and fire mitigation and promoting active stewardship of Colorado’s resources,” she said. “This work is so important to preserve Colorado’s public and wild places, which are also a cornerstone of our tourism and outdoor recreation economies. “
