Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Reema Nandy, an associate in its Albuquerque office, was elected to the board of directors of Ethos Literacy. The nonprofit organization is a reading and learning center that aims to help adults secure gainful employment, advance in their education and thereby give their children financial security and a greater chance for their own academic success.
In her role, Nandy will participate in the strategic and financial planning for Ethos Literacy’s mission and act as an ambassador for the organization.
She looks forward to contributing to an organization that serves a vital need in her community.
“This nonprofit serves a very important and often overlooked need in my local community,” said Nandy. “Specifically, this organization is focused on empowering illiterate or low-literate adults with necessary and practical literacy skills. This includes comprehensive and thoughtful programs aimed at allowing illiterate adults to gain competency in reading, writing and oral communication. “
