Alex-Marie Baez has joined Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck as a diversity and inclusion specialist, based in its Denver office. In her role, Baez will work directly with the firm’s Committee on Diversity, Inclusion and Equity; Women’s Leadership Initiative; employee resource groups; and business teams to help implement Brownstein’s diversity, inclusion and equity priorities and enhance its impact. Baez will support Ali Metzl, the firm’s chair of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Baez has experience creating, implementing and leading equity and inclusion initiatives and providing trainings on sexual harassment, cultural humility, anti-racism and bystander intervention. She brings a strong knowledge of current anti-discrimination laws and best practices in diversifying an organization to her role at Brownstein.
Baez earned her law degree from Albany Law School of Union University and her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University.
