Corey Zurbuch Joins Brownstein’s Real Estate Department

September 28, 2022

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck welcomes Corey Zurbuch to its Real Estate Department as of counsel. Based in the firm’s Denver office, Zurbuch will focus on real estate issues related to owners associations and the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act.

“We’re thrilled to have Corey join Brownstein’s Real Estate Department,” said Nicole Ament, Brownstein’s Real Estate Department chair. “Corey’s 25 years of real estate experience that encompasses owners association issues as well as litigation will be a great addition to our nationally recognized real estate team.”

A real estate, business and litigation attorney, Zurbuch has a broad background in transactions and owners association issues. His experience in both commercial and residential real estate along with his work on construction defect litigation and contracts provide a strong background for Zurbuch’s work with restrictive covenants, homeowner associations, condominiums and planned communities. With recent updates to the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA), many clients are facing increased complexity when it comes to properties with HOAs.

Most recently, Zurbuch served as a partner with Rountree Losee, LLP in Wilmington, North Carolina, and prior to that was the founder and managing member of his own firm, The Zurbuch Law Office, LLC located in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado.

Zurbuch received his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Denison University.
