Charlotte Phelps, a shareholder in the Denver office, was recognized with a 2024 M&A Advisor Emerging Leaders Award. Recipients will be recognized with this national award on Sept. 23-24, 2024, at The New York Athletic Club in New York.
This year’s esteemed recipients for the Emerging Leaders Awards are young professionals under the age of 40 who have made groundbreaking contributions to the fields of M&A, corporate finance and restructuring, demonstrating unwavering dedication to their profession and to charitable causes. A panel of independent judges selected the winners from a large pool of impressive candidates based on their accomplishments in business and community service.
Phelps focuses her practice primarily on representing private equity sponsors, individual founders and strategic companies in complex transactions. She counsels clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, minority investments and general corporate governance matters. Phelps has wide-ranging industry knowledge, representing clients in consumer products, manufacturing, hospitality, health care and media, among other industries. In addition, she regularly provides general commercial legal advice to clients and makes it a point to understand their day-to-day business operations and objectives.
