David Reid Recognized as a 2024 NILE Top Lobbyist

October 29, 2024

David Reid, a policy director in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Government Relations Department in Washington, D.C., was recognized by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (NILE) as a 2024 Top Lobbyist. This marks his second consecutive year receiving this prestigious honor.

NILE’s 2024 Top Lobbyist list showcases 100 standout professionals in the advocacy industry, including lobbyists, PAC professionals and grassroots specialists. Each recipient—endorsed by their peers—was selected for their exceptional advocacy skills, innovation, thought leadership, and meaningful contributions to their communities.

Reid is deeply embedded in Democratic politics and draws on his personal network on the Hill, in the Biden-Harris administration and throughout the business community to build coalitions that drive policy success for clients. He works hand in glove with clients to lead complex public policy efforts related to infrastructure, hospitality, gaming, health care, technology, telecommunications, and arts and entertainment. The top lobbyist bundler for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Reid also collaborates closely with the Harris team, guiding clients in their engagement with the operation.

Within Brownstein, he is an active member of the Pro Bono Committee and co-leads the firm’s LGBT+ Affinity Group. Among his many outside involvements, Reid serves on the executive committee of the One Victory and LGBTQ Victory Institute board,  as well as on the board for Q Street, the professional association of LGBTQ lobbyists and public policy advocates.

He will be recognized at the Top Lobbyist Reception at The Library of Congress on Nov. 7.
