Greg Hayes, office managing director of Brownstein’s Sacramento office, was elected to the board of directors of CASA Sacramento, a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to recruiting, training and supporting Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) who serve Sacramento County’s foster children.
Hayes will serve a two-year term, providing administrative and strategic guidance, policy advocacy and fundraising support. CASA Sacramento’s mission resonates with Hayes on a personal level.
“My wife and I have been foster parents for the last four years,” he said. “We have witnessed firsthand what incredible value the CASAs provide to the children they serve and to the system broadly. I am interested in doing whatever I can to support the organization and their mission to serve some of the most vulnerable children in our communities.”
