Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck welcomes Patrick Berry and Darcy Levy as shareholders in the firm’s Corporate Department. They will both be based in the Denver office.
Berry’s work has included private middle-market mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships, and he has served in an outside corporate counsel role for clients in various industries, including technology, consumer products and hospitality. Most recently, Berry was at Partners Group, one of the largest publicly listed private equity firms in the world, where he gained experience forming and structuring bespoke investment vehicles for institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and private investors.
“We’re excited to have Patrick back at the firm as we continue to grow our depth in middle-market M&A. He’s an excellent addition to the team and we have no doubt our clients will feel the same way,” said Jay Spader, chair of Brownstein’s Corporate & Business Department.
Berry earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

“Darcy’s experience acting as outside corporate counsel to various early-stage companies and her focus on privacy and tech transactions make her a great addition. Her ability to provide advice and counsel to companies will help us better serve the day-to-day needs of our clients, and her experience structuring and negotiating commercial contracts, technology transactions and SaaS agreements and advising on privacy matters will help us continue to be a destination law firm for cutting-edge companies,” Spader added.
